The tour staff are still trying to get us back on track, without doing a killer day.
To get back on track would require a very long day with 1 small and 3 large peaks and more than 3500 meters of climbing. So, they compromised and hoped to choose a spot between the 3rd and 4th peaks. We were to start off and they would tell us where we are going when we got to the lunch bus.
Photos along the way:
Limon - about halfway to lunch. Nice little town. We were able to replenish our supply of toilet paper here (hey, these things can be tough when all you have is point and grunt Spanish! Blew the budget - $0.40 per roll

Laura and I biked together for the morning, doing the first two peaks. The lunch truck was just past the second peak. We found out that the camp would be at a tiny village called Marianita. So the total day's ride would be 106 km, 2860 A, 2270 D.
Laura decided that she would take the bus because the next peak was going to be tougher. I set off with full water bottles and sunscreen 'slathered' on as the sun had come out and it was hot.
More jungle
The first part of the afternoon was a long downhill which, of course went too quickly. Then the uphill started in the heat. And it was hot. I went through 3 water bottles and 2 juice boxes before the summit.
Finally over the summit the downhill to camp was refreshing. In theory, Laura was
supposed to be in camp before me, but the bus was delayed and never passed me (I
would have gotten more water if they had passed me).
Marianita turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. We are in a covered basketball court, there are lots of toilets (good when there are 50 of you) and a nearby river to swim in.

Marianita is the village of a small indigenous tribe. Later on that evening they performed some dances for us. I apologize for the poor picture quality.
